• construction services project

Project Description

The total renovation of the existing Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, included all new electrical distribution throughout the entire facility. Renovation work included new concessions, suites, restrooms, clubs, lounges, kitchens, a team store, theater, learning center, security center, fountain and new site lighting. Two new levels also were constructed.

The stadium remained operational during the entire project, which spanned two NFL football seasons, thanks to an elaborate temporary power distribution system that provided construction power and maintained essential services.

Six months of pre-construction, estimating, design review, value engineering and constructability review aided in the sequencing of the project.

More than 263,000 man-hours were completed with a strong safety record, thanks to a full-time on-site safety professional working closely with the general contractor’s safety director.
